Sigurdsson has chosen 2ne1 - Can't Nobody as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes is looking to clinch.
Hughes moves forwards but Sigurdsson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Ryan Hughes has been cut.
Hughes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hughes tries to clinch up but Sigurdsson circles away and keeps his distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Sigurdsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sigurdsson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sigurdsson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hughes's hands.
Frank Sigurdsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sigurdsson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sigurdsson drops Hughes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hughes looks back up at him and smiles so Sigurdsson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ryan Hughes's cut is getting worse.
Sigurdsson lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hughes head around and knocks him out cold! Sigurdsson hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
