Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blue Jays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Small Fryy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blue Jays!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Small Fryy!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jays stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jays wants it to stay on the feet.

Jays closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Jays's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fryy tries to close the distance and clinch but Jays swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fryy wants to clinch.
Jays stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jays wants it to stay on the feet.
Fryy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Fryy moves into the clinch.

Jays escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Small Fryy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fryy looks for a takedown but Jays sprawls well.
Blue Jays has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Small Fryy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fryy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jays sprawls well. Jays wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fryy gets slowly back to his feet.
Fryy throws a front kick aimed at Jays's knee but Jays avoids it well.
Jays keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jays slaps away a takedown attempt from Fryy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fryy tries to clinch but Jays moves away
and Jays counters with a two punch combo.
Jays misses the shot to the body.
Jays avoids a kick to the body.

A combination from Fryy does no damage.
Fryy fails with a takedown attempt.
Fryy wants to clinch.

Jays fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fryy, pushing him back against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Jays.
Fryy tries a body shot but Jays blocks it.
Jays stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Jays breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jays sizes up Fryy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fryy tries to clinch but Jays moves away

and Jays counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jays.

Jays gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fryy regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jays preventing the sweep.
Jays sitting in guard here, content to control.
Fryy wants to sweep but no luck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jays trying to control the position from guard on top but Fryy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jays wants to stand and escape but instead Fryy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jays has his hands on Fryy's head, controlling the position.

Jays is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jays had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fryy defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Jays's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Fryy just misses with a punch to the body.
Jays is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fryy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jays closes the distance and pushes Fryy back into the cage.
Fryy jumps guard but Jays turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jays lands with a right to the head.
Fryy is trying to break the clinch but Jays is controlling him.

Fryy tries to stall but Jays uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jays cracks Fryy with a nice body shot.

Jays is trying to trip Fryy. He has hold of a leg but Fryy is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jays persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fryy can't keep his opponent in guard - Jays advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jays has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Jays throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fryy because Jays loaded up on that one.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jays controlling the pace for now.
Fryy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jays prevents Fryy from getting the reversal.
Jays throws some wild stikes that Fryy manages to avoid easily.
Fryy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Fryy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jays.
Fryy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jays controlling the position easily from mount.

Jays jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fryy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fryy and Jays has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jays looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jays is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Jays decides to stand back up.
Fryy tries to clinch up but Jays circles away and keeps his distance.
Fryy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jays's waist but Jays gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fryy off to one side.

Fryy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jays to the ground. Fryy is now in Jays's guard.

Jays working for a triangle but Fryy defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jays holds on and takes a little breather.
Jays is looking to stand up but Fryy isn't so interested in that idea.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jays escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fryy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fryy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jays is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blue Jays dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Jays bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fryy's head backwards.
Fryy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jays paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fryy keeps the fight on the outside.
Jays stuffs the takedown.

Jays pushes Fryy up against the cage in a clinch.
Jays lands with a light punch inside.
Jays dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Jays as the two fighters clinch.
Jays throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Jays breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fryy closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Jays rushes Fryy and presses him up against the cage.
Fryy tries to break free but Jays pushes him back against the cage.
Fryy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jays after a bit of a struggle.
Fryy fails to pull guard.
Blue Jays has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Small Fryy.

Jays breaks the clinch.
Jays blocks the body kick.

Jays has closed the distance and engaged Fryy in a clinch.
Fryy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jays to keep the fight standing.
Jays lands a body shot in the clinch.
Fryy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jays digs a right hand into Fryy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fryy's gas tank.
Fryy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jays.

Jays breaks from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jays throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jays waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fryy.
Fryy tries to clinch up but Jays circles away and keeps his distance.

Jays gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jays slowing the pace effectively.
Jays is leaning against Fryy and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Fryy is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jays is defending well.
Jays works on Fryy's body with a couple of short punches.

Jays breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jays manages to break the clinch.
Fryy misses with a body shot.

Jays moves into range and clinches up with Fryy.
Fryy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fryy wants a takedown but no success here.

Jays has Fryy up against the cage in a clinch.
Fryy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jays pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jays misses with a takedown attempt - Fryy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jays closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fryy is trying to drag Jays to the mat but Jays just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Blue Jays is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jays can't get the takedown.
Small Fryy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jays displaying some good clinch control by pressing Fryy up against the cage.
Fryy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jays walks away with a smile on his face. Fryy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Blue Jays showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jays has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
