The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Crump.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crump tries for a kimura but Pearson is defending well.

Pearson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Crump kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
