Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Flint Postle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Warner!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Postle swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Warner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Warner.
Postle manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Warner holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Postle tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Postle trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Warner is looking to get to half guard.
Warner tries to lock up and control but Postle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Postle looking to finish with strikes here!
Postle controlling from the full mount.
Postle avoids the attempt from Warner to control.
Postle throws a sloppy strike and Warner uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Warner has ended up in Postle's guard.
Postle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Postle looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Warner wants to control from the top but Postle keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Warner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Postle, who protects the arm well.
Warner wants to control but Postle is keeping him busy.

Warner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Warner thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Postle tries to bench press Warner off him but Warner keeps the position.

Warner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Warner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Postle is trying to get back to half guard.

Warner is working to tighten is grip on Postle's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Postle has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Warner is really squeezing tight and eventually Postle passes out! Warner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jay Warner!
