The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowe shoots in looking for a takedown. Evans Jnr tries to sprawl out of it but Rowe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Evans Jnr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rowe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Evans Jnr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowe.
Evans Jnr misses with a double jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rowe.
Rashad Evans Jnr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Rowe.

Rowe forces Evans Jnr back against the cage and clinches.
Rowe pushes Evans Jnr back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rowe has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Evans Jnr is trying to keep an underhook but Rowe manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Evans Jnr is trying to stand back up but Rowe is controlling him
Rowe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Evans Jnr tries to kick Rowe off but Rowe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rowe looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Rowe decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Evans Jnr is breathing heavily.

Rowe drops Evans Jnr with a big left hand and mounts him. Evans Jnr is in big trouble!

It looks like Rashad Evans Jnr has been cut.
Rowe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rowe looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Evans Jnr covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
