Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Soto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mak stuffs the takedown.

Mak closes the distance and clinches up with Soto, looking for a takedown. Mak pushes Soto against the cage but Soto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mak wants it to stay on the feet.

Soto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Soto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Soto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mak makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Mak is pushing down on Soto's leg trying to pass to half guard. Soto is fighting to maintain full guard but Mak has managed to sneak the leg through.

That was a close second round but I would say that Freddy Mak will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Soto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Soto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Soto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Soto!

Mak has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Soto's face.

Mak postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Soto in real trouble here! The ref calls for Soto to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
