PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Kilipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Falko Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kilipovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Guns N' Roses: Paradise City. Mirko Kilipovic has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mirko Kilipovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Falko Estrada!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilipovic misses with a body kick.
Kilipovic scoring well with a low kick there.
Estrada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Estrada misses with a straight right.
Kilipovic stuffs the takedown attempt from Estrada. Estrada gets slowly back to his feet.
Estrada cracks Kilipovic with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Estrada tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kilipovic staying out of range there.
Kilipovic lands with a kick to the temple. Estrada shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Estrada manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kilipovic on his heels. He'll look to pass Kilipovic's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Mirko Kilipovic has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Kilipovic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Estrada is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Estrada lands a nice short elbow.
Estrada is nestled in close to Kilipovic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kilipovic is staying active underneath Estrada, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Estrada takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
