Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Dantes as Morte shoots in.
Dantes dodges the punch combination from Morte.
Morte misses with a low kick.
Ivan Morte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morte shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dantes as he jumps to the side.
Dantes closes the distance and clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dantes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dantes throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Edmond Dantes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Morte.
Dantes lands an elbow inside that Morte shrugs off.
It looks like Ivan Morte has been cut.
Morte has had enough of the clinch but Dantes keeps him there for the moment.
Dantes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Morte keeping moving, preventing Dantes from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dantes lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dantes passes Morte's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dantes moves nicely into side control.

Dantes advances to full mount.
Morte is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dantes goes for an armbar but Morte turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Morte.
Dantes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Morte throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dantes's body to avoid the submission. Dantes has instead reached around Morte's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dantes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
