Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scott Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Kuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuma has chosen Zetsubou Billy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Scott Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryo Kuma!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuma misses with a wild combination.
Kuma lands with a cross.
Kuma scoring well with a low kick there.
Kuma pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Kuma follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Scott Smith has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Kuma. Those never looked like landing.
Kuma is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Ryo Kuma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuma tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith avoids the head kick by Kuma.
Smith dodges the punch combination from Kuma.
Kuma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kuma throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuma scores with a leg kick.
Kuma misses with a wild combination.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kuma lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kuma.
Kuma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kuma tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kuma throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kuma is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Scott Smith!
