Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoban Washburne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and God Zilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). God Zilla struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. God Zilla will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Washburne scores with a takedown into Zilla's guard.

Washburne works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Washburne is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Zilla!
Zilla is controlling an arm, preventing Washburne from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Washburne is working for a guillotine from mount but Zilla frees his head quite easily.

Washburne has hold of Zilla's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zilla manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Zilla is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Washburne is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zilla can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
