Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cobb sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cobb lands a leg kick that knocks Vera off balance momentarily.
A head kick misses from Cobb.
Cobb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vera's waist but Vera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cobb off to one side.

Vera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cobb tries to avoid it but Vera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cobb to the ground. Cobb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vera is trying to control. Cobb wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Vera is pressing down on Cobb's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cobb is holding on for now.
Vera is trying to control the action in half guard but Cobb is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Vera moves into full mount! Cobb won't be happy about that!

Vera lands a big elbow.

Vera has hold of Cobb's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cobb manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Vera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
