Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhang Zhu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zhu avoids it really well and circles away.
Zhu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Zhu gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Zhu manages to retain guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zhu is keeping the position for now.
Brown postures up in Zhu's guard and throws a big left but Zhu blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zhu wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Brown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Brown distracts Zhu with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Brown stands up over Zhu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zhu manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brown has Zhu in his guard.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zhu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zhu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zhu wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Brown's closed guard. He's half up but Brown has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Brown pivots and extends the arm, Zhu falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Brown! Well done that man!
