PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Abutaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sailo Lance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lance comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abutaha with a jab.
Abutaha tries to clinch but Lance is having none of it.
Abutaha tries to clinch but Lance moves out of range.
Abutaha is looking to clinch.
Lance looks to land a body kick but Abutaha moved away.
Lance tries a head kick but it misses.
Abutaha moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lance keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Abutaha loads up on a big right hand but Lance slips the punch.
Abutaha fails with the takedown.
Abutaha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Abutaha tries to close the distance and clinch but Lance swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Abutaha blocks a head kick by Lance.
Abutaha uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lance.
Abutaha throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Lance is rocked!

Abutaha darts in and clinches Lance up against the cage.
Lance is still on wobbly legs! Can Abutaha finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abutaha utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Abutaha manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Abutaha has Lance pressed against the cage. He pushes Lance back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Abutaha throws a beautiful elbow that sends Lance crashing to the floor! Abutaha piles on the pressure with more strikes! Lance is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
