Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mixtli Azteca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honey comes to the cage accompanied by Cruising in Miami by Bass 305. Azteca is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Graveflower by Acid Bath. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honey works over Azteca's head and body with a nice combination.
Honey scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Honey blocks a leg kick.
Azteca misses with a few strikes there.
Nice uppercut lands for Azteca. That snapped Honey's head back.
Honey looks to land a combination. Azteca sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Azteca holds on and takes a little breather.

Azteca manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Honey manages to get himself to full guard.
Honey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Azteca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Honey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Azteca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
