and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Hatred throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Young dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hatred. That did some damage!

Hatred throws a low kick but it's checked well by Young.

Hatred throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Max Hatred has been cut.
Hatred lands with a kick to the temple. Young shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hatred looks for the body kick but Young saw that one coming.

Eric Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hatred throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Young was covering up waiting for the punch and Hatred finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Young can't keep his opponent in guard - Hatred advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Young is looking to control Hatred's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Young avoid being mounted?
Hatred has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hatred in particular looking to stall.

Hatred maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Young could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hatred has cracked it and Young is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hatred!
