Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Opal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, That Guy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Guy.
An inside leg kick lands from Opal.
Guy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Opal showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Guy.
Opal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Guy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Opal looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Guy in side control, throwing shots but Opal defends.
Guy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Opal tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Guy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Opal is working hard here to advance position.
Opal struggling a bit here.

Opal is not content to let Guy control the position.
Opal is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Opal can't do much from the bottom here.
Opal takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Opal tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Guy easily slips into full mount!
Opal keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Guy raining down shots from the mount!

Opal is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Guy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Opal's face.
Guy goes for an armbar but Opal turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Opal.
Guy looking for subs off his back but Opal has passed one foot through into half guard.
Opal wants to stand up but Guy has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Guy looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Opal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Guy landing rabbit punches to the side of Opal's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Opal not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Opal wants to take a breather but Guy is having none of it.
Opal has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Guy defend it? Opal steps over the head and cranks it - Guy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Opal!
