Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Fiddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phan Nam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis Fiddel looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fiddel lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Phan Nam has been cut.
Fiddel misses with the combination.
Fiddel motions for Nam to come forward. Fiddel throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Fiddel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nam sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Nam gets full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nam has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fiddel off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Fiddel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Nam drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Nam seems to have locked his on tight now - Fiddel screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nam, as he picks up the win!

Phan Nam decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
