These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Acey shoots for a double leg takedown but Beer sprawls well. He's pushed Acey 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Acey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Beer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Oh but Beer is tightening it up a little... Acey has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Acey reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Acey taps out! nice BJJ there by Beer!
