Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hurley Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaq Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Diesel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alves has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alves and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Alves had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diesel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Alves Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diesel's back instead.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Well Diesel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
