Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Timo Jutila!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jutila fails in his attempt to clinch.
Castillo misses with a double jab
and Jutila counters with a leg kick.
Jutila throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castillo's waist but Castillo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jutila off to one side.
Castillo jabs Jutila to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jutila fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Castillo loads up on a big right hand but Jutila slips the punch.
Jutila looks to land a combination but Castillo avoids it well.
Jutila scores with a leg kick.
Castillo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jutila scores with a hook to the body. Castillo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Jutila drops down looking for an ankle pick but Castillo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ozzie Castillo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Jutila.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jutila.
Jutila fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jutila throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jutila pushes Castillo up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jutila takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Castillo is trying to break the clinch but Jutila is controlling him.

Castillo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Castillo's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Jutila has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Castillo uses from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jutila controls Castillo momentarily but Castillo frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jutila shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jutila showed some decent athleticism there.
Jutila wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castillo keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jutila looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Jutila is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Castillo reverses the position - he's now on top in Jutila's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Castillo tries to free his leg and advance position but Jutila is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
