Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Duckworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sir has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Jack Duckworth looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Duckworth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pablo Sir!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir works Duckworth's body with a nice hook.

Duckworth drives through and clinches with Sir against the cage.

Sir's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sir scores with a jab to the head.
Sir lands a nice hook to Duckworth's body. Duckworth takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sir jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sir connects with a nice looking jab.

Duckworth shoots in and drives through. Sir sprawls well.
Sir lands with a hook. Duckworth tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duckworth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sir has his foot on Duckworth's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duckworth works his way back into a safe position though.

Sir is looking to regain half guard here but Duckworth keeps moving and retains side control.

Duckworth is looking for a kimura but Sir is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Duckworth to get the leverage.
Duckworth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sir on the ground.

Sir is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Duckworth pulls his head out easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pablo Sir dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Sir paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Sir avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duckworth fails with a takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sir, as that shot connected.
Sir fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sir throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Duckworth on the side of the head.
Sir uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd cheers as Sir lands an impressive looking overhand right. Duckworth doesn't seem phased though.
Sir scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Duckworth takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A jab from Sir finds it's way through Duckworth's defenses.
Pablo Sir seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Sir ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sir lands the left hand.
Duckworth gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sir.
Sir connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sir scores with a sloppy right hand. Duckworth should have avoided that one.


Duckworth is rocked!

Sir lands a lovely overhand right.
Oh Duckworth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice combination there by Sir.
Duckworth takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sir drops Duckworth with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sir follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
