Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ze Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minotauro comes to the cage accompanied by Buckethead - jump man. Slice has chosen All I Do is Win as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minotauro looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Minotauro shoots for a takedown but Slice saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Slice defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Minotauro.
Minotauro throws a chopping leg kick but Slice manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Minotauro moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Slice feints and then cracks Minotauro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Minotauro down.
Minotauro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Slice tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Minotauro is in Slice's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slice is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Minotauro had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Minotauro sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Slice. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Slice is looking to improve his position but Minotauro isn't that keen on the idea.
Minotauro misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slice can't escape the position.
Minotauro cracks Slice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Slice is trying to escape the mount.
Minotauro lands with some strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Minotauro jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Slice is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Slice and Minotauro has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kimbo Slice is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Minotauro throws a strike but Slice avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
