Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Zedong misses.
Zedong throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
East looking to land some kicks to the body here.
East fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
East takes one on the button.
Zedong stuns East with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
East lands with a hook. Zedong tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Zedong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Zedong tries to score with a low kick but East moves his leg out of the way.
Zedong punishes East's body with a nice straight punch.
East closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Zedong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Zedong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

East jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Zedong is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Zedong and East has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

East feints and then cracks Zedong's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zedong down.

Zedong connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed East momentarily.

Zedong jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zedong is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! East had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Zedong throws a low kick, looking for East's leg but East calmly moves out of range.

East bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zedong's head backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

East shoots in but Zedong avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Klein East will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mao Zedong seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Zedong finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

East doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

East changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zedong tries to avoid it but East manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zedong to the ground. Zedong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Zedong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

East's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zedong connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! East scrambles back to his feet.
East lands a really nice looking cross but Zedong seems unphased.

Zedong tries to clinch up but East circles away and keeps his distance.

Mao Zedong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Zedong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
