Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Van Normayen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de Souza comes to the cage accompanied by Dry County. Van Normayen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Vader - Sword of The Witcher. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ludwig Van Normayen!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from de Souza misses.
Van Normayen throws a push kick but de Souza slaps the foot to one side.
Van Normayen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Ludwig Van Normayen has been cut.

de Souza is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Van Normayen frees his head nicely. Oh but de Souza has switched to an armbar! Van Normayen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
