The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machin keeps the fight on the outside.

Jung rushes Machin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jung misses with an elbow strike.
Jung gets underhooks to prevent Machin's takedown attempt.
Jung gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Machin.
Jung is pressed up against the cage. Machin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jung down to the mat. Jung avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Machin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tyler Jung has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Machin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jung sprawls well. Jung wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Machin gets slowly back to his feet.

Liam Machin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jung tries to avoid it but Machin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jung to the ground. Jung escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jung has managed to clinch.
Machin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Machin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jung pulls his leg out and moves away.
Machin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jung but Jung pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Machin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee asks Machin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Machin prefers to stall for the moment though.
Jung is not content to let Machin control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
