Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleks Pimpovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard comes to the cage accompanied by Immortality by Pearl Jam. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pimpovic lands with a nice body punch.
Howard fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Howard with that takedown attempt.
No joy there for Howard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pimpovic slaps away a takedown attempt from Howard, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Howard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Howard shoots in looking for a takedown. Pimpovic tries to sprawl out of it but Howard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pimpovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Howard throws a series of punches but Pimpovic avoids them all with ease.
Pimpovic leaves Howard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pimpovic throws a head kick that misses.

Howard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Howard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pimpovic is looking to improve his position but Howard isn't that keen on the idea.
