Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Amarena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I drink alone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfredo Amarena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Martin!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amarena gets a clinch.
Martin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Amarena holds on to Martin's head and controls the position momentarily.
Amarena is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Amarena is not content to let Martin control the position.
Amarena can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin decides to stand back up.
Martin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Amarena uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.
A combination from Martin does no damage.
Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin throws a series of punches but Amarena avoids them all with ease.
Amarena tries to clinch but Martin moves out of range.
Martin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Amarena counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martin tries to bum rush Amarena with a series of wild strikes but Amarena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Amarena cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Martin looks to land a combination but Amarena avoids it well.
Martin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Martin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Amarena working to try and regain half guard.
Amarena is squirming around, avoiding Martin's attempts to control the action.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amarena keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martin controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Amarena is wriggling around trying to escape.
Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Amarena. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Martin looking to control but Amarena is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hank Martin wasn't active enough on the ground.
Martin looks to land a left hand but Amarena moved out of range nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Martin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Martin misses with a right hand
and Amarena counters with a shoot takedown. Martin fights it but they end up in guard.
Amarena pushes down on Martin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Amarena is looking to advance position but Martin won't allow it.
Still in half guard, Amarena seems content to control.
Amarena has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Alfredo Amarena just wasn't active enough.
Amarena misses with a low kick.
Amarena dodges the punch combination from Martin.
Martin gets caught flat footed, as Amarena shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Amarena wants to pass the guard but Martin is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Amarena controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Martin looking for a sweep. Not yet Martin, not yet.
Amarena passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Martin tries to buck Amarena off but Amarena is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martin throws Amarena to one side and escapes!
Amarena swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Martin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin shoots in and gets a takedown into Amarena's guard.
Amarena keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.
Amarena is looking for a triangle but Martin pushes his legs off easily.
Amarena has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Martin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Amarena has tightened it up now! Martin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
