Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jan Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Jansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chase Moran!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen stuffs the takedown attempt from Moran. Moran gets slowly back to his feet.
Jansen tries to clinch but Moran is having none of it.
Moran shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jansen as he avoids it easily.
Jansen wants to clinch.
Moran misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jan Jansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Moran.

Jansen rushes Moran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jansen fakes the leg kick and cracks Moran in the body.

Moran shoots in and drives through. Jansen sprawls well.
Jansen moves in looking to clinch but Moran pushes him off.
Moran shoots in looking for a takedown. Jansen tries to sprawl out of it but Moran keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Moran is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jansen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jansen has had enough of the clinch but Moran keeps him there for the moment.

Moran jumps guard but Jansen stands there with Moran around his waist. Moran gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Moran counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jansen's guard now.
Jansen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moran on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moran drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jansen dives on top into guard.

Moran pushes Jansen off and scrambles back to his feet.
Moran throws a head kick but Jansen moves out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Moran looking to control but Jansen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moran takes Jansen's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Jansen is in trouble.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Moran is persistently looking for the submission but Jansen is defending it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chase Moran will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jansen throws a jab but it's blocked by Moran.

and Moran decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jansen's guard.
Moran content to stall in guard here.

Moran might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jansen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Moran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jansen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moran is staying tight to Jansen's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Moran decides to stand back up.

and Moran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Moran decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Moran shoots for a double leg takedown but Jansen sprawls well. He's pushed Moran's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The ground and pound from Moran seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Moran decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jansen to his feet.

and Moran counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Moran is nestled in close to Jansen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chase Moran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Moran throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jansen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
No luck for Moran with that takedown attempt.
Jan Jansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Moran.
Jansen feints and then cracks Moran's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moran down.
Moran sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Horrible takedown by Moran or perhaps it was just good defense by Jansen which made him look bad.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jan Jansen.
I think Moran has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
