Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paolo gold chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Rik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rik's choice of entrance music: The walking dead. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gold chin digs a good body shot into Rik's ribs.
gold chin lands an overhand right.

It looks like Shane Rik has been cut.
Rik is looking to clinch but gold chin is avoiding it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by gold chin!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
gold chin connects with a looping right hand.
Rik throws a low kick but it's checked well by gold chin.

Rik shoots in and bounces gold chin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

gold chin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rik off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Paolo gold chin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rik throws a big shot that misses.

gold chin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rik.
gold chin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rik looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

gold chin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rik gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Rik tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but gold chin is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Rik buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Rik!! Rik is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. gold chin throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
