Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warlord shoots in but Velcic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Warlord checks a leg kick nicely.
Velcic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Velcic throws a leg kick but Warlord moved away.
Velcic scores with a one two! Warlord had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Warlord closes the distance and clinches up with Velcic, looking for a takedown. Warlord pushes Velcic against the cage but Velcic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Velcic wants to clinch up but Warlord keeps it at a distance.
Velcic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Warlord looks gassed!
Velcic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Renato Velcic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Warlord.
Velcic works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Velcic throws a nice looking combination but Warlord bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Warlord shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Velcic pinned against the cage. Velcic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Velcic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Warlord tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Velcic swivels and escapes.
Warlord is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Warlord shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warlord showed some decent athleticism there.
Velcic wants to improve his position but Warlord is controlling well.

Velcic has one foot on Warlord's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Warlord changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velcic tries to avoid it but Warlord manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velcic to the ground. Velcic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Velcic moves into range and clinches up with Warlord.
Warlord prevents Velcic from breaking the clinch.
Warlord has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Velcic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Velcic lands a body shot in the clinch.

Velcic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Warlord shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Velcic moves into the clinch successfully.

Velcic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Warlord, pushing him back against the cage.

Warlord pulls Velcic into guard.
Warlord is pulling down on Velcic's head. It's preventing any offense from Velcic, at least for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velcic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Velcic wants to stand but Warlord is controlling his posture from full guard.
Velcic trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Velcic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Velcic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warlord swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Velcic misses with a low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Velcic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Warlord shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Velcic but Velcic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Velcic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Velcic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Velcic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Warlord as he avoids it easily.
Warlord shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Velcic counters with a two punch combo.
Velcic throws and low kick but Warlord moves out of range easily.
Velcic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Warlord's calf.
Velcic lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Velcic.

Warlord darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Warlord is controlling the pace.

Velcic actively working from the bottom here.

Velcic is staying active underneath Warlord, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Warlord might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Velcic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Velcic is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Warlord pulls his head out easily.
Warlord tries to pass to full mount but Velcic defends it.

Velcic has his foot on Warlord's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Warlord works his way back into a safe position though.
Warlord has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Velcic is proving hard to escape from.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Velcic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Warlord is desperately trying to improve his position but Velcic has a good base and remains in mount.

Velcic is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Warlord defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Velcic is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
I really don't envy Warlord right now.

Velcic has got one arm under Warlord's chin. This could be trouble... Warlord trying to control the other hand but Velcic gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Warlord has tapped out! The fight is over!
