Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy has chosen CRYING LIKE A BITCH BY GODSMACK as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Conor Murphy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Murphy checks it well.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murphy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A big left from Jackson misses.
Murphy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Murphy shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
Murphy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jackson throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Murphy moves into the clinch.
Jackson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Murphy lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Jackson drops Murphy with a big knee straight up the middle! Murphy is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Murphy is rocked!

It looks like Conor Murphy has been cut.
Murphy looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Murphy doesn't seem bothered though.
Murphy is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Murphy up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jackson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Murphy's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tomas Jackson!
After winning the bout, Tomas Jackson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
