The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Insano displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mars.
Insano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mars. That did some damage!
Mars closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Insano quickly recovers to half guard.
Mars takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mars trying to control from Insano's half guard. Insano has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Mars loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mars tries to free his leg and advance position but Insano is retaining full guard.

Mars drops back looking for a leg! Insano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Insano manages to kick Mars off! Mars jumps back into Insano's guard.
Mars wants to pass the guard but Insano is keeping the position.

Mars working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Mars works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mars has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mars is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Insano is just riding it out for now. Mars eventually gives up the hold.

Insano tries to score with a low kick but Mars moves his leg out of the way.
Mars shoots in for a takedown but Insano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Insano is trying to keep Mars in close.
Insano wants to stand but Mars is controlling the position.

Insano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mars manages to get himself to full guard.
Mars looking for a guillotine here but Insano defends easily.
Mars bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Insano's guard.
Mars looking to sit in guard and control but Insano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Insano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mars looking to hit a scissor sweep but Insano is one step ahead there.
Insano has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mars is proving hard to escape from.
Mars is working an open guard so Insano takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Mars shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Insano sprawls well. Insano wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mars gets slowly back to his feet.
Insano lands a jab to Mars's midsection.
Insano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Insano moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mars is defended easily by Insano.
Felipezoom Insano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Mars.
Insano throws a shot from downtown. Mars moves away and avoids it.

Mars tries to score a power double leg takedown but Insano sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mars somewhat.
Insano moves into range and clinches up with Mars.
Insano lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mars backwards.
Insano is looking to control Mars's arms but Mars gets an underhook and turns him. Now Insano has his back to the cage.
Mars tries for a takedown but Insano manages to get underhooks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Insano is looking to break free of the clinch but Mars has double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipezoom Insano dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Insano throws a chopping leg kick but Mars manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Felipezoom Insano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Insano throws a leg kick but Mars checks it.
Mars takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Insano tries to clinch there but Mars circles away.
Insano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Insano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mars feints and as Insano raises his hands in defense, Mars changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Insano is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mars is controlling him.
Mars throws a big right hand that misses.

Insano keeping moving, preventing Mars from controlling successfully.
Mars postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mars throws a strike but Insano rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mick Mars has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mars is looking for a triangle but Insano pushes his legs off easily.
Mars escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Insano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Insano has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mars is proving hard to escape from.

Mars is positioning himself well to prevent Insano advancing to mount.
Insano prevents Mars from improving his position.
Insano tries to stand and escape but Mars is controlling the position.

I would just about give that final round to Mick Mars.
I think Mars has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
