Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruiner Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Cong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett comes to the cage accompanied by canceled forever 125. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cong's choice of entrance music: Jibbs - King Kong. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett lands the left hand.
Barnett looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cong is positioning himself well to prevent Barnett advancing to mount.
Barnett is trying to control the action in half guard but Cong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cong is trying to control but Barnett passes into side control!
Cong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barnett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Cong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Barnett gets to mount! Cong was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cong tries to lock up and control but Barnett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Barnett working for a guillotine from mount but Cong is in no mood to give up.

Barnett looking to control but Cong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Barnett lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cong hang on?
Barnett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Barnett lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice elbow there by Barnett.
Cong wants to hold on but Barnett pushes him away.
Cong tries to reverse the position but Barnett maintains control.
BOOM! Barnett connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cong can't escape the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cong is in a horrible position here. Barnett smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cong is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Barnett trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Barnett controlling the pace for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cong regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ruiner Barnett dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cong shoots for a double leg takedown but Barnett sprawls well. He's pushed Cong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cong misses with the combination.
Cong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cong lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barnett backs up against the cage.
Barnett throws the left hand but Cong avoids the punch easily.
Cong looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Cong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Barnett looking for subs off his back but Cong has passed one foot through into half guard.

Cong performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Barnett is trying to control but can't.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Barnett moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cong stands and throws Barnett's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cong decides to stand back up.

Cong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barnett counters with a nice leg kick.
Ruiner Barnett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Cong.
Cong shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cong lands with a good body shot.
Cong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Barnett works his way to full guard. Good work.

Cong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Barnett controls Cong momentarily but Cong frees himself.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cong wanted to stand there but Barnett had control of the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Christian Cong was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cong shoots in but Barnett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Cong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Barnett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Barnett throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cong connects with a jab.
Cong throws a right hand that misses
and Barnett counters with an inside leg kick.
Cong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cong throwing shots but Barnett is blocking nicely.
Cong is keen to just control but Barnett is a slippery customer.
Cong trying to control from Barnett's half guard. Barnett has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Barnett trying to keep a closed guard but Cong is proving a slippery customer.

Cong looking to sit in guard and control but Barnett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barnett's guard.
Cong trying to control the position from guard on top but Barnett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Barnett utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cong preventing the sweep.
Barnett is working hard here to advance position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Christian Cong hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Barnett throws a looping overhand right but Cong ducks down to avoid it.
Barnett dives in and scores a takedown into Cong's guard.

Cong wants to sweep but no luck.
Barnett with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Cong tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Barnett presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Cong is trying to escape the mount.
Barnett scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Christian Cong has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cong tries to lock up and control but Barnett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cong wants to control but Barnett is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ruiner Barnett.
I think Barnett has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Ruiner Barnett misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
