The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Proudstar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A left lands for Proudstar.

It looks like Dante Fertit has been cut.
Proudstar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Proudstar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fertit was well out of range. Poor timing from Proudstar.
No luck for Fertit with that takedown attempt.
Fertit shoots in for a takedown but Proudstar shows good takedown defense.
Fertit fails with the takedown.
James Proudstar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Fertit.

Fertit chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Proudstar can pounce on him.
Fertit throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Proudstar tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Proudstar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fertit.
Proudstar throws a half hearted mid kick.
Proudstar circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Fertit drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Proudstar follows Fertit to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
