Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavo misses with a lunging right hand
and Montillo counters with a one-two to the body.
Chavo looks to land a right hand but Montillo moved out of range.
Chavo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Montillo doesn't seem bothered though.
Chavo swings for the body but Montillo moves out of range.
Montillo misses the jab.
Chavo tests Montillo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Montillo tries to clinch up but Chavo circles away and keeps his distance.
Chavo gets a double leg takedown into Montillo's guard.

Chavo looking to sit in guard and control but Montillo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chavo pulls Montillo in close to prevent any damage.
We're going to have a standup here because El Chavo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Montillo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Chavo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Montillo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Montillo's back!

Montillo is covering up but some of the strikes from Chavo are getting through and doing damage.
Montillo tries to escape but Chavo has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Montillo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chavo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chavo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chavo!
Chavo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Montillo some visible discomfort.

Chavo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Montillo down.
Check out the look on Chavo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Chavo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Chavo cracks Montillo with a big right hand but Montillo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Chavo lands a strong strike to the head of Montillo. That's dazed him! Chavo looking to finish here. Montillo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Chavo lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

As El Chavo got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: O Manager The Great Fala de Mais. Toma seu Comédia..Agora não vem chorar não'.
