The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Barnett !
Barnett can't escape the position.
Kimura wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Barnett keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kimura working for a guillotine from mount but Barnett is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnett tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kimura looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barnett wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
I really don't envy Barnett right now.
Kimura is working for a rear naked choke. Barnett is not defending it well and Kimura has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Barnett refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Barnett 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
