Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andr Fern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lachlan Chomley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chomley has chosen Wheel In The Sky as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chomley has closed the distance and engaged Fern in a clinch.

Chomley gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fern tries to get to full guard but Chomley has control of the leg.
Fern is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fern manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Chomley is stalling in the full guard.

Fern uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Chomley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fern.
Sloppy strikes from Chomley. Those never looked like landing.

Chomley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chomley lands in his opponent's guard.

Chomley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fern. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fern doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Chomley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fern has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chomley has managed to get both his arms back between Fern's legs - danger averted.

Chomley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fern's head.

Fern wants to get back to his feet but Chomley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lachlan Chomley will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Chomley tries to close the distance and clinch but Fern swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chomley scores with a one two! Fern had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Chomley shoots in and bounces Fern off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fern has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chomley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chomley won't allow Fern to sweep him here.

Chomley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Fern is looking to sinch up a triangle. Chomley throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fern's body to avoid the submission. Fern has instead reached around Chomley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fern arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
