Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Zdravkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Zdravkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Witt!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Witt closes the distance and clinches.

Zdravkov gets control of Witt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zdravkov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Zdravkov looking for a sweep. Not yet Zdravkov, not yet.

Zdravkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Witt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Witt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zdravkov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Witt is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zdravkov defends it well.

Witt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Witt perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Witt wants to free his trapped foot but Zdravkov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Zdravkov is looking for a sweep. Witt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Witt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Zdravkov slaps away a takedown attempt from Witt, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nice takedown defense from Zdravkov. No joy for Witt on that attempt.
Zdravkov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zdravkov closes the distance and clinches up with Witt, looking for a takedown. Zdravkov pushes Witt against the cage but Witt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Witt doesn't manage to clinch there - Zdravkov circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Zdravkov.
Zdravkov misses with a series of wild punches.
Zdravkov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Witt is fending him off so far but Zdravkov persists. Nope, Witt circles away and we're back to standing.

Zdravkov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Witt as he jumps to the side.

Witt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zdravkov.

Witt tries to close the distance and clinch but Zdravkov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Shawn Witt.
Well Witt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
