Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Sorrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sorrow's choice of entrance music: Harvester of Sorrow. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Sorrow!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorrow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thomas shoots in and bounces Sorrow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Thomas sitting in guard here, content to control.
Sorrow has momentary wrist control but Thomas slips an elbow through the middle.
Sorrow wants to get back to his feet but Thomas is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sorrow has an active guard here but Thomas has managed to pass into half guard.
Thomas is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Thomas postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sorrow to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sorrow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thomas closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sorrow's guard.
Thomas controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Thomas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Thomas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sorrow is looking for a sweep.
Sorrow looks gassed!
Sorrow being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sorrow is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Thomas is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Sorrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thomas cracks Sorrow with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Thomas is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sorrow is surviving well by controlling Thomas's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sorrow has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Thomas working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Sorrow is doing well to defend. Thomas seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Sorrow is forced to tap and this one is over!
