Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Graciliano Dorian!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorian throws a jab but it's blocked by Williams.
Williams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Graciliano Dorian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams misses with an attempted mid kick.

Williams scores with a takedown into Dorian's guard.
Dorian is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Dorian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dorian looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Dorian's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Dorian is keeping the position.

Dorian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Williams throws a big right hand that misses.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Dorian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Williams lands with a kick to the temple. Dorian shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dorian throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.
Dorian throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dorian's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dorian duly obliges.

and Williams counters with a leg kick.

Dorian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Williams gets a takedown into half guard.
Dorian looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams stalling away here and it's allowed Dorian to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dorian preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Williams trying to control but Dorian is working from the bottom.

Dorian wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.
Dorian keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Williams is looking to stand up but Dorian won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dorian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams shoots in for a double leg but Dorian sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Williams gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Williams looks for a takedown but Dorian sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dorian.
Dorian misses with a wild combination.
Williams scores with a spinning back kick!

Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dorian looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dorian has one foot on Williams's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pete Williams dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dorian bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards.
Williams shoots in but no luck this time.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt.
Dorian lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Williams falls backwards - clearly groggy! Dorian dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Graciliano Dorian!
