Gray's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, make love not war baby. The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Grand Magus - Hammer of the North. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Smith cracks Gray with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gray scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Gray dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Gray's head and hops out.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Gray saw that one coming.
Gray throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Gray.
A low kick from Smith is predictable there
and Gray connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gray drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gray misses with an uppercut.

Smith throws a hook to the side of Gray's head but Gray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smith leaves Gray with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smith catches Gray with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Peter Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Gray moved out of range.
Smith buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gray looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
Gray throws a good cross that connects.
Gray misses with a left hand
and Smith makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gray gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Smith lands with a hook. Gray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gray moves out of range of the leg kick from Smith.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

letting Smith counter with a right hand.

Gray is rocked!
Smith drops Gray with a huge uppercut! Gray drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Smith is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
