Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvid Monoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jay!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay slaps away a takedown attempt from Monoshiro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jay showed some decent athleticism there.
Monoshiro gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Monoshiro is looking to sweep but instead, Jay has passed into half guard.
Jay missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Jay is just content to waste time from the top position. Monoshiro takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Monoshiro trying to keep a closed guard but Jay is proving a slippery customer.
Monoshiro is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jay wants to control from the top but Monoshiro keeps moving.
Jay has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Monoshiro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jay is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Monoshiro pulls down on the head and he's put Jay to sleep! This one is all over!
