Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between JaKaSa Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talib Kweli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaos comes to the cage accompanied by Moonsorrow - Kuolleiden maa. Kweli has chosen 2Pac - Hit em up as his entrance music. Talib Kweli told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, JaKaSa Chaos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Talib Kweli!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kweli.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Chaos is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kweli is controlling him well.

Chaos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kweli with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kweli throws a nice looking combination but Chaos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Chaos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kweli shoots in looking for a takedown. Chaos tries to sprawl out of it but Kweli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chaos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kweli shoots for a double leg takedown but Chaos sprawls well. He's pushed Kweli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kweli crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chaos - the referee stops the clock and Kweli gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chaos. Kweli manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
