The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilcox is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wilcox has Sommers up against the cage in a clinch.
Sommers wants to stall.
Wilcox lands with a left to the head.
Wilcox misses with a punch to the body.
Wilcox is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sommers gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wilcox wants to get back to striking at distance but Sommers won't allow it.

Sommers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wilcox but Wilcox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wilcox throws a leg kick which misses Sommers's front leg but catches the back leg as Sommers tries to avoid it.
Wilcox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sommers was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilcox.
Wilcox lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sommers backs up against the cage.
Wilcox ducks right into an uppercut from Sommers.
It looks like Jacoby Wilcox has been cut.
Sommers misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from Sommers. No joy for Wilcox on that attempt.
Vic Sommers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacoby Wilcox.

Horrible takedown by Wilcox or perhaps it was just good defense by Sommers which made him look bad.
Sommers throws a sloppy head kick and Wilcox moves out of range easily.

Sommers takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jacoby Wilcox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilcox throws out a leg kick but Sommers moves out of range and Wilcox only half commits.
Wilcox throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sommers was covering up waiting for the punch and Wilcox finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wilcox throws an elbow that misses. Sommers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wilcox's guard. Nice move by Sommers!
Sommers postures up in Wilcox's guard and throws a big left but Wilcox blocks it.
Wilcox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Sommers scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Wilcox is trying to hold Sommers in close to prevent damage but Sommers has managed to pass into half guard.
Sommers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wilcox does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sommers lands with a punch from half guard.
Sommers wants to pass to mount but Wilcox is defending the position.
Wilcox is not content to let Sommers control the position.
Wilcox is looking to improve his position.
Wilcox is pressing down on Sommers's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wilcox looking for a guillotine here but Sommers defends easily.
Sommers is working Wilcox over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sommers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wilcox looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sommers has picked Wilcox up and slammed him! Wilcox can't keep hold of the triangle and Sommers manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilcox is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Sommers not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sommers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sommers winds up and cracks Wilcox with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wilcox tries to roll over but Sommers keeps him under control.
Sommers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wilcox makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wilcox.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sommers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilcox manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Vic Sommers will probably get the nod.

Sommers tries to bum rush Wilcox with a series of wild strikes but Wilcox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sommers throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Wilcox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sommers but Sommers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sommers works over Wilcox's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sommers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Wilcox throws a leg kick but Sommers checks it.
Wilcox lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sommers circles away quickly and effectively.
Sommers misses with a hook.
A jab-cross combination lands for Sommers and sends Wilcox crashing to the mat! Sommers follows him down to the mat - Wilcox regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Wilcox is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sommers working over Wilcox with some ground and pound. Wilcox looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wilcox is still in real trouble! Can Sommers finish him?
Sommers lands with a punch from half guard.
Sommers lands a big elbow - Wilcox is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sommers!
