PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Tokoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tokoro has chosen World's End Rhapsody as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tokoro has Mann up against the cage in a clinch.

Tokoro has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mann regains guard immediately.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mann sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Tokoro drops back looking for a leg! Mann is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mann manages to kick Tokoro off! Tokoro jumps back into Mann's guard.

Mann tries to free his leg and advance position but Tokoro is retaining full guard.

Mann wants to get up but he can't break Tokoro's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tokoro on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Tokoro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mann swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tokoro drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tokoro seems to have locked his on tight now - Mann screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tokoro, as he picks up the win!
