Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikaro Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks comes to the cage accompanied by x. Dantas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Self vs Self kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Dantas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dantas throws a jab when Hendricks was well out of range.

Dantas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hendricks was covering up waiting for the punch and Dantas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ricardo Hendricks just wasn't active enough.
Dantas throws an overhand right that lands on Hendricks 's shoulder, as Hendricks tries to avoid the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hendricks tries to close the distance and clinch but Dantas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hendricks connects with an inside leg kick.

and Hendricks counters with a head kick.
Dantas moves out of range of the strikes.
Hendricks connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dantas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hendricks finds it's way round the side to connect with Dantas's head.
