The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendonca shoots in but Manson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mendonca misses with a kick to the body.
Mendonca moves in looking to clinch but Manson pushes him off.
Manson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mendonca.
Manson looks to land a right hand but Mendonca moved out of range.
Mendonca moves forwards but Manson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Taylor Mendonca has been cut.
Manson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Manson scores with a sloppy right hand. Mendonca should have avoided that one.
Mendonca blocks a head kick by Manson.
A jab from Manson finds it's way through Mendonca's defenses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mendonca walks into a jab.
Manson throws a shot to the body.
Manson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mendonca's head backwards.

Manson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

That has opened up Taylor Mendonca's cut even more.
Manson drops Mendonca with a huge uppercut! Mendonca drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Manson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
