The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg Jr throws a right and a left that Fern avoids nicely.
No joy there for Borg Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Borg Jr does no damage.

Fern drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fern is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Borg Jr working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fern.
Fern controls from within his opponent's guard.
Fern stands and throws Borg Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fern has hold of Borg Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Borg Jr seems comfortable defending it but Fern has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Borg Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Borg Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fern couldn't care less - he's delighted!
