Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Juno Reactor - Pistolero. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Machado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mendez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Joe Machado has been cut.
Machado tries for a takedown but Mendez circles away easily
and Mendez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Machado misses with a takedown attempt
and Mendez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Enrique Mendez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Machado.
Machado slips a jab and a cross from Mendez.
Mendez lands with a good body shot.
Oooooh!!! Mendez has knocked Machado down with a huge combo! Mendez steps away and waves a wobbly Machado back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes from Mendez. Those never looked like landing.
Mendez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Machado.
Mendez scores with a jab to the body.
Mendez pounces like a tiger and cracks Machado with a vicious hook! Machado is down but not out! Mendez follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Enrique Mendez!
After winning the bout, Enrique Mendez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
