Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vazren Rigogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Rurikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rigogo comes into the arena with Parapapapa blaring out of the sound system. Vazren Rigogo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigogo lands with a right hand.

It looks like Pavel Rurikov has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by Rigogo there.

Rigogo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rigogo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rigogo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rurikov!

Rurikov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rurikov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rigogo is working away from the top position though.
Rurikov keeping hold of Rigogo's head, controlling as best he can.
Rurikov wants to control but Rigogo is keeping busy.

Vazren Rigogo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rigogo jabs Rurikov right on the nose. Rurikov blinks but takes it well.

That has opened up Pavel Rurikov's cut even more.
Rurikov shoots for a double leg takedown but Rigogo sprawls well. He's pushed Rurikov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rigogo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rurikov.
Rigogo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Rurikov is rocked!

The cut above Pavel Rurikov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Rigogo weaves into range and cracks Rurikov right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Rurikov goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rigogo is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
